Harmony & Theory (H&T) is the single most essential knowledge to get to the forefront of musical ability and creativity. It is vital that, as a musician, you come to Peace and Harmony learning H&T. H&T is the same as learning anatomy is to medicine, or legal precedent is to lawyers. It’s what you need to get ahead and stay ahead. It is the source of great inspiration and thought-provoking experimentation. It gives you the tools to understand exactly what to do in any musical situation. It’s the ingredients necessary for all cuisines from a hamburger to a gourmet meal. It’s basically everything there is to know about the structures of music.
I strongly urge every musician, regardless of what instrument they play, to learn H&T as the key to fully understanding music profoundly. Many musicians learn H&T in a very haphazard way with bits of information coming from different sources and most people never quite fully connect the dots. I can listen to a musician play and within just a minute or two, determine the level of their musical knowledge. I can easily pinpoint weaknesses and gaps in their understanding.
I have spent a lifetime developing this system of presentation for this vital information. I have come to understand that what is missing in the usual presentation of H&T is, a logical and methodical, and simple unfolding of the information enabling the student to fully understand the material presented and to begin applying it immediately through musical examples that give the student a clear and defined aural representation of the magic of H&T.
When I was 16, I had 40 private students and it was way back then that I began developing this system that I fully guarantee will have you understanding music in a way you never thought possible. It means nothing if the student doesn’t understand the material presented, or doesn’t understand how to apply it. My mission statement for this course is the honest desire for you to learn theory in a fun and interesting way that will inspire and propel you forward. There is a beginning and and an end to the nuts and bolts of H&T, it is not infinite! What is infinite is the possible applications of the knowledge. The most interesting artists in the world the ones with the most longevity are the ones that have the most musical depth.
I personally guarantee that this course will be the last H&T you will ever need.
