This is your personal invite to sign up for the brand new course 'Peace and Harmony: The Theory Of Creativity', a uniquely presented Harmony & Theory (H&T) from 'The Originator of the Sweep Picking Technique', 'The Thunder From Down Under', Frank Gambale.

The course is presented with classroom style whiteboard examples where FG talks you through the examples whilst writing on the whiteboard so its very easy for you to follow along. From there FG takes each and every single whiteboard example and plays these on the guitar you so have have an audible reference and are able to connect whats on the whiteboard to your instrument and 'connect the dots'.

This allows you to instantly understand the H&T and immediately apply it to your instrument so there is no confusion at all!

You can purchase 'The Complete Set' or choose individual Volumes based on your interest.

  • Volume 1 - Intervals, Understanding Chord Construction and the Harmonized Scale
  • Volume 2 - Major Scale Harmony
  • Volume 3 - Melodic Minor Scale Harmony
  • Volume 4 - Harmonic Minor Scale Harmony
  • Volume 5 - Diminished & Diminished Dominant Scale Harmony
  • Volume 6 - Triad Over Bass Harmony

The first building blocks of H&T. Two notes together. The starting point. Here we name all intervals. We also learn what best to call them to remove all confusion. We learn what they are in chords (more than two notes together is a chord!) and the many names an interval can be inside a chord.

Chord Construction

After intervals, the next logical building block is chord construction. First 3 note triad chords, then more complex chords all the way to the most advanced. You’ll learn what’s inside a chord and more importantly…WHY. You will be understanding the simplest triad to the most complex chords and be able to name which notes are in them in absolutely no time with my method!

There are a couple of simple rules to learn here that always apply and you’re off. Once you see how this is presented, you will never wonder what the notes are of ANY chord… guaranteed!

Harmonized Scale

The next logical building block is the understanding of a Harmonized Scale. This is so crucial to real-world playing. This section explains which chords are related together and…WHY! The why part is really important, because if you understand why, then you never forget it. This section will have you understanding chords in the same key and easily recognize when a chord is not in the same key. You will learn how to figure out a Harmonized Scale which is essential whether you’re writing a song or improvising a solo.

Major Scale Harmony

This section explains the very misunderstood subject of Modes. In this section you will learn the mode names of the Major Scale and how to learn them. You will also learn their interval structures and how they compare to the most fundamental scale of all, and the scale to which all music theory is compared, the Major Scale or….Ionian Mode. You will understand why it is essential to learn each mode from it’s root.

Major Scale Mode Chord Progressions

The next logical step is to learn how to construct Modal Chord Progressions that zero in on the mode sound so that you begin to recognize them immediately by their character sound. Each mode has a sound or “mood”. I think they should have been called ‘moods” because that’s what they deliver to the ears, different moods. Learning how to make modal chord progression enables you to recognize them in songs. Many songs are in modal keys. This will raise your level of understanding to where you will never ‘not understand’ modes again. You’ll realize how incredibly important it is to have this understanding and wonder how you ever played without this knowledge.

Major Scale - Modal Chord Progressions Analysis and Performance

This next logical step toward fully understanding H&T is the analysis of modal chord progressions. In this section you will study progression examples from simple to complex. You will be guided through the evaluation and analysis of the logic of ‘what mode would be best and why” on each chord of each example.

Melodic Minor Scale Harmony

The next logical step is to begin learning other scales which deliver harmony and theory that is not present in the major scale. Even though this scale has only one note different to the major scale, that variation presents you with a number of new chords from it’s harmonized scale and a host of new modes for those chords. Deeply important in the journey of musical advancement. This scale is, as it’s name suggests, melodic. You will learn all there is to know about the Melodic Minor scale in this section.

Melodic Minor - Chord Progression Analysis and Performance

In this chapter and in logical order, you will learn to recognize and analyze melodic minor chord progressions within the well-crafted examples. You will learn to recognize typical Melodic Minor chords, and be guided as to how to analyze them and to logically decide which scales to play over them to continue making the unfamiliar - familiar.

Harmonic Minor Scale Harmony

The next logical step is to begin learning yet another new scale which delivers harmony and theory again, that is not present in the major scale or Melodic Minor scale. This scale at face value, has two notes different to the major scale. I will show you a discovery I made years ago that is a new way to look at the Harmonic Minor scale so that it appears to be only one note different to the major scale, the result of which makes it much easier to remember, to learn and to play. The Harmonic Minor presents you with a number of new chords from it’s harmonized scale and new modes that for those chords. Again, deeply important in the journey of musical advancement. All there is to know about the Harmonic Minor scale is right here in this section.

Harmonic Minor - Chord Progression Analysis & Performance

This section shows you how to recognize Harmonic Minor chord progressions and, with guided analysis, learn to quickly decide which modes are needed. This process will soon have you feeling confident to play over any Harmonic Minor chord progressions with ease.

Diminished Scale Harmony

The next logical step is to fill in the gaps left by other scales. The diminished scale is an 8-note scale that presents chord types again, not found in any other scale. This section shows you what those chords are, and you’ll be guided through the analyses so that you can easily know what to play over them and how to use them in a music way in composition and improvisation.

Diminished Dominant Scale Harmony

The next logical step is the Diminished Dominant scale. This scale is the opposite to the symmetrical scale, Diminished. This scale presents chords that don’t appear in any other scale also. We analyze them and learn what they are and how to play over them when they arise, and how to use them in a logical compositional way.

Diminished and Diminished Dominant -Chord Progression Analysis & Performance

In this section chord progressions are analyzed for both Diminished and Diminished Dominant scales. Again, you will be guided through the analysis and from there quickly learn the typical uses of the chords from these scales. This will enable you to understand the chord sequence clearly. This is the confidence building that will receive from these analyses and the result is that you become fearless playing over any diminished and in fact, any harmony.

Triad Over Bass Harmony

This section analyses modern slash chord harmony derived from using a Triad over Bass note. These chords are typically known as Slash Chords. Of the twelve possibilities for these chords and clears away any mystery about these chords.

Triads Over Bass Note - Chord Progression Analysis & Performance

This section, through carefully guided analysis of all twelve slash chord Triad Over Bass chords, you’ll learn which scales fit best and why….remember, understanding the “why” is what will enable you to always recall and understand fully this information and all harmony.

Frank Gambale on Peace & Harmony: The Theory of Creativity.

Harmony & Theory (H&T) is the single most essential knowledge to get to the forefront of musical ability and creativity. It is vital that, as a musician, you come to Peace and Harmony learning H&T. H&T is the same as learning anatomy is to medicine, or legal precedent is to lawyers. It’s what you need to get ahead and stay ahead. It is the source of great inspiration and thought-provoking experimentation. It gives you the tools to understand exactly what to do in any musical situation. It’s the ingredients necessary for all cuisines from a hamburger to a gourmet meal. It’s basically everything there is to know about the structures of music.

I strongly urge every musician, regardless of what instrument they play, to learn H&T as the key to fully understanding music profoundly. Many musicians learn H&T in a very haphazard way with bits of information coming from different sources and most people never quite fully connect the dots. I can listen to a musician play and within just a minute or two, determine the level of their musical knowledge. I can easily pinpoint weaknesses and gaps in their understanding.

I have spent a lifetime developing this system of presentation for this vital information. I have come to understand that what is missing in the usual presentation of H&T is, a logical and methodical, and simple unfolding of the information enabling the student to fully understand the material presented and to begin applying it immediately through musical examples that give the student a clear and defined aural representation of the magic of H&T.

When I was 16, I had 40 private students and it was way back then that I began developing this system that I fully guarantee will have you understanding music in a way you never thought possible. It means nothing if the student doesn’t understand the material presented, or doesn’t understand how to apply it. My mission statement for this course is the honest desire for you to learn theory in a fun and interesting way that will inspire and propel you forward. There is a beginning and and an end to the nuts and bolts of H&T, it is not infinite! What is infinite is the possible applications of the knowledge. The most interesting artists in the world the ones with the most longevity are the ones that have the most musical depth.

I personally guarantee that this course will be the last H&T you will ever need.
